Hi Dan,

If you don't get a more useful response to your question, I suggest you
send Steve Jackson address@hidden a brief description of what
you want to do. We've been pushing the limits of Swarm on a PC, running
multiple models with thousands of individual fish. 

In fact I just updated our web site
http://weasel.cnrs.humboldt.edu/~simsys/ with a brief description of
"multi-modeling" in our chinook salmon model. We're running a number of
different model swarms in the same simulation, and moving fish among
them. There are 4 classes of modelswarm, but the actual number of models
instantiated is determined at run time from input. Each model has its
own time step and spatial scale. Steve is still cleaning it up but it's
pretty cool.
