My main worry is that there is too much not-exactly-minimalistic UML
notation, and that the kind of XML files you get when you process a
Rational Rose model with a tool like
http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/xmitoolkit are massively complex.
So I fear it would be hard to learn and hard to implement. However,
the XMI toolkit does seem to get the job done, so in some sense the
concept is proven.
