Question about Entropy in Java

I have a variant of the heatbug demo in Java and would like to use the entropy 
class on bug
properties.

I've read the Swarm User Guide, but am still not clear about how I would use 
the Java Entropy class
and
methods.

Can anyone provide a brief explanation, or simple example?
