Even when you schedule two events at the same time?
What exactly do you mean by "works"?
Do you mean the following:

java TestMapIndex 
<same output as with javaswarm.  If so, what is javaswarm good for?>

Doing a build.  Sounds very mysterious, since we're not just compiling C,
we're not just compiling java, we're not just programming in Emacs Lisp.
(all of which I've done)  And I've never seen makefiles with .in and .am
extentions...

Thanks for the pointer, but I have never seen anything like it.
These do not seem like your normal makefiles.
Perhaps I need to review a tutorial on this particular kind.
Any pointers?
