Hi,
Universities in Australia (I expect the same would apply to those
elsewhere) that belong to the Apple University Consortium
http://auc.uow.edu.au are eligible to receive Mac OS X Porting Grants.
Here are some details:
Mac OS X Porting Grants
This new type of Grant is aimed at encouraging the UNIX community to
create new OS X applications from existing source code. One or two
flagship conversions will be sponsored with the exact level of funding
to be determined based on required resources.
Mac OS X Porting Grants will be allocated as required.
Does the Swarm team have a recipe to follow for porting Swarm if people
want to try? I'd like to work on it in my spare time.
