Tim Howe added a feature to my replicator.pl script (used for
parameter sweeps and batch
processing of Swarm models), so I called it replicator2.pl and
put it at
http://lark.cc.ukans.edu/~pauljohn/Swarm/MySwarmCode.
Tim H wrote me this:
Dear Paul,
I started looking at your replicator.pl, which looks like it
will be very
useful for multiple runs. Thanks for making it available.
I made a few changes, attached, which are yours now if you want
them. Feel
free to pick and choose if you don't like them all.
Major changes:
I found that my programs were failing due to the absence of the
SCM file
from
the experiment directories, so I altered the code to copy *.scm
down to
each experiment directory.
I altered the code to accept range options such as --sweep
x=1..5 as well as
the original format --sweep x=1,2,3,4,5.
I start the directories off with exp-001 rather than exp-1, so
that
directory
listings look neater when there are 10 or more experiments.
I added to the documentation as I learned how the script works.
