I believe that the snapshot you are using is woefully out of date
(20010613 is 13 June 2001) and that more performance-related fixes
have been introduced since. Check Paul Johnson's latest RPMs at:
http://lark.cc.ukans.edu/~pauljohn/Swarm/Swarm-2.2x_RPMSforRH7.2/
I believe the latest version is 2.1.132.20020309 (the 9 March 2002
snapshot). You'll probably need to upgrade to Red Hat 7.2 to get
these RPMS to install, otherwise re-build it using the SRPM. That's
life on the bleeding edge! ;-)
