By the way, I've just looked at the Heatbugs demo with my new installation
and that doesn't have the same error when quitting...

I think I've seen the same thing with WIndows, the last time I used it 6
months ago. It would be good to get to the botttom if it. Can you run
your app under gdb and find out where this problem hits you? I will find
a windows machine within the next week and see if the problem is the
same here.
