Well, just try to install the rpms and if you are missing a dependency,
it will tell you. Never use the "force" option.
The swarm-jdk will tell you which particular jdk I had at the time I
built it. I'm now on version 1.5.0, but if the rpm you find wants
something different, use that.
I think if I were you I would use the newer 2.2 pre-release that Marcus
Daniels announced recently.

Paul,
Thanks a lot.
To install Swarm (Java) in Fedora Core 3, should the following be a
complete list based on the message in your web?
1. J2SE v 1.4.2_04 SDK with NetBeans 3.6 Bundle (they are bundled, not
need to install NetBeans 3.6)
2. blt-2.4z-1fc2.i386.rpm
3. hdf5-1.6.2-1fc2.i386.rpm
4. swarm-2.1.156.20041122-1fc3.i386.rpm
5. swarm-jdk-2.1.156.20041122-1fc3.i386.rpm
The others such as debuginfo and static are optional?
