The graphlib package is intended to be built and installed into the
Swarm distribution itself, and then your Makefile should be list it as a
library.

I found the graph lib to be weak in some respects, so when I used it, I
simply put copies of those files into my working directory and then
changed the Makefile and other files in the correct way. Basically, you
don't build the graphlib as a separate library anymore, you just make
the *.o files in your current directory. Perhaps you can learn from this
example:
