I don't know what to suggest other than to follow it, sorry.   A trace 
and reply debugger would be the ideal tool (e.g. VMware workstation), 
but you might get lucky running the JVM under GDB.   With GDB, remember 
there will be several threads running for the JVM so step through them 
and check each backtrace.
