Thanks matthias, that helped clear it up for me. I was still using 0.8.1 and thats why AVM2 wasn't working for me.

More precisely:

Generating AVM2 movies with pdf2swf:
   works (-T9 option)

Having a "stop" in each frame with AVM2 movies:
   works (-T9 -s insertstop)

Having clickable links in AVM2 movies:
   doesn't work yet

That's for the development snapshot. The last release (0.8.1) can't do
AVM2 at all.
