Hi all I went round and round in circles on this. Still haven't managed to insert a blank keyframe at the start of the clip I gave up, and rebuilt the app using more swfc and less extraction. Getting jiggy with swfc now. A suggestion as to why extraction breaks the code when refering to an object on frame 1 :

But in each movie clip, I do not get the error if I place the code on frame 2 of the movie clip... Am assuming that when the code is on frame 1, it is called befote the object 'exists'... Any ideas for the movie clips ?Sorry no ideias. Did you already solve the problem? You can always send me the files and I will try to figure it out. But no promises that I can make it. Ricardo |
