Add a space to the middle of a URL in the repository dialog - that seems to
trigger it for sure.

Summary: corrupting sources.list

Original Submission: It is possible to add invalid characters/formatting to a
respository in the repository editor; if you save the changes then, your
sources.list becomes "corrupt", and you must use a console to correct it.

It would be much better if the repository editor sanity checked the input
before writing it to disk or accepting changes.

Can you please provide a example? Then I can get a better idea of the exact
problem.
