synaptic 0.46 has a font chooser for ui and terminal font. this should fix the 
problem.

Summary:  Font problem in Installation Window

Original Submission:  The fonts are distorted and unreadable in the 
installation window, I attach a screenshot.



My Gnome desktop is configured in spanish.



I use Debian GNU/Linux Unstable, updated on November 3rd, 2003.



I have an NVidia GeForce 2 MX.

thanks for your bugreport. As it's a debian related bug, could you please 
resubmit it to the debian bug tracking system? this way (if you use the 
reportbug utility) I get some more information, like the installed dependencies 
and the locales you use. I have a development version ready that has includes a 
font choser for the terminal. if you want to try it out (you'll have to compile 
it yourself), please let me know, I'll send you intructions what to do :)
