Integrate ISO 14001 into TS-16949 and ISO-9001 Systems

Companies are increasingly setting up multiple systems. ISO 9001 or TS-16949 for Quality. ISO 14001 for Environmental. Safety, Lean, 5S, Six Sigma. Each system comes with its own rules, manuals, binders, proceduresÂ… Eventually, they compete for time and resources. What was meant to give improvement, now begins to consume resources. It takes on a life of its own.

There's a better way. These systems are compatible with each other. They will merge rather nicely into one "Business Management System." For now, we'll focus on integrating ISO 14001 into TS-16949 and ISO-9001. When that is done, these same principles can be applied to other programs as well. Even with different process owners and champions, different departments, different documents, the integration can be straightforward. The techniques and steps are clear and easy to master. This session will outline the steps to take.
