Hi Patrice,
Although the texinfo manual says that one cannot use parentheses in a node 
name (e.g. "@node Node (with parentheses)"), makeinfo, makeinfo --html and 
texi2pdf correctly process them. Unfortunately, texi2html does not. It 
generates lots of warnings and no links to those nodes. Attached is a sample 
file with the output generated by texi2html. 

The warnings produced by texi2html are:

Bug: Section (nodename with parentheses), target undef
