Unfortunately, we have had lots of problems with the CVS and
it seems that the CVS site for the documentation will not
be available before the end of the hollidays :^(((

I therefore manually merged the new documentation with
Hans' German translations and sent the result as an attached file.
You need TeXmacs-1.0.0.14 in order to correctly read everything.
The only change w.r.t. TeXmacs-1.0.0.13 is the tmdoc-title* macro
(for letting possible translations appear in the title bar;
this should only be used for the front page for a while).

The keyboard entries have been updated to the new keyboard layout.
The menu items have not been updated yet. If someone has the courage,
that would be a useful thing to do. A few things might still change,
but the keyboard and menus should mostly be stable by now.

Notice that we now use kbd-text, kbd-math, kbd-table, etc. macros for
keyboard shortcuts for text mode, math mode, etc. This makes it
possible to automatically update the documentation in the case that
some of the major prefixes change on certain systems.

Notice also that the menu, submenu, subsubmenu, etc. macros have
all been replaced by a single menu *function*. This function has
the property that menu items in the help are *automatically*
translated into the language of the document.

For translations, please do not forget to set the document language
for every page and to keep hyperlinks to the English version if
no translation is available yet for the corresponding page.

Future changes will include some more documentation from the current
help menus and the Wiki and a tool to automatically build a book or
a chapter of a book from the smaller pieces. I also plan to support
better tools for cross-referencing later, but it is not necessary
to wait for this, because this might be added manually later.

Stéphane: what about the French translations? You told us that you did
some work on that; would you be willing to update it to the new format and
send it to us?
