No, it's the same for me here just right now. Maybe the system searchs on the wrong port or I have to use secure ftp. When I downloaded the TeXmacs source from the same server yesterday, I had to retry several times, too.I do not know wether it is a bug or a misconfiguration.Or a temporary server problem?
2 - When using Help -> Online Help -> Browse webDon't know about this, but when I just checked this (strating with the Tutorial for Beginners), I found another bug: The inline pictures were not shown, and in the console I had:TeXmacs] Running ghostscript http://www.gnu.org/Users/martinc/.TeXmacs/doc/images/screenshots/ start.png
I have similar error, but note that the file's path is not the same:pngtopnm: http://www.gnu.org/software/texmacs-doc/tutorial/start/start.png - No such file or directory
Anyway, the file is in http://www.gnu.org/software/texmacs-doc/images/start.png.
I don't know if all images have to be in images, or if the images relative to a dedicated branch should be in this branch. I suppose the first one is correct.
In this cas, as I don't know how graphics should be added in Texmacs (I mean the right way to do it according to texmacs policy: image->link image or image->insert image or anything else, which size and so on, an example would be nice), I have not changed it. If someone tells me how to do it, it can be done right now (just a matter of minutes to change the files (English, French and maybe German?) and commit it to cvs).
No idea. I would have thought you know exactly how texmacs behaves, as the maintainer of texmacs on Fink. How does it get the idea to prepend http://www.gnu.org/ to the path?
