Yes, since the code which printed this particular error message with
fatal_error was removed :)
Though, the root cause was not fixed. I was thinking it would be a good
thing to print a warning statement when the cache is found to be corrupt.
So, if a regression happens which causes a systematic cache corruption,
it would be easy to detect. Without a warnining, that would just cause a
silent slowdown which may pass unnoticed for years.
