I'm running TeXmacs in Emacs mode, and C-w cuts text to
the kill buffer. (Just as in emacs.) In emacs A-w saves
text to the buffer without deleting it, and I think it
used to do that in TeXmacs too. Currently (e.g. in
TeXmacs 1.0.6.14) it seems I have to Esc-w to get that
effect.
