Set the loglevel in your syslog daemon down.
You can set a separate log level if you want 'info' or similar on Postfix logging.

My syslogd.conf is curently set to only log info level. According to the syslogd man page, 'warn' should not be used. The next level down from 'info' is 'notice'. I just tried this, and now I just see one line:

May 10 10:58:47 devious tpop3d[4173]: ioabs_tls_shutdown: client [5]dean(203.45.88.46): underlying connection closed by peer during shutdown

Which is better, I guess :)
