hmm. That definitely shouldn't cause a segfault!

Can you run each of the addresses in the backtrace through
addr2line and send me the results (and tell me which
version of tpop3d you're using). Something like:
    addr2line -e /usr/local/sbin/tpop3d 0x8053e65
etc.
