I deleted my .bashrc to test and it still hangs (had to do C-g C-g).

Here's the ending of the debug after starting a bash session using tramp:

MASK:~$

Hmm, I also wouldn't want to always have to modify each .bashrc...that
isn't very portable.  Maybe I should just do it via sshfs, but getting
it to work on a Mac is a pain.
