the way I use gdb through tramp to the remote host is based on 'gud-gdb', which
by
default starts gdb simply with '--fullname'. That is to say, without MI and in
this case I'm a happy camper.
I just tried using 'gdb' which implies by default '-i=mi' and in this case I'm
encountering some problems like 'Terminal type `dumb' is not smart enough to run
Info.' after trying 'info thread'.
