greetings, again!

it appears that the various import mechanisms are not well unified... please 
let me know if these things are true:

1. the only place in which we are given the option to copy files to the project 
folder is in the new project creation dialog
2. also in the new project creation dialog, there are no options regarding what 
to do with the files -- each file is always made into a new track

...otoh...

3. the track-based file import or d'n'd will only link to files, not copy them 
(so to get files within the project folder, we must copy them first and then do 
track file import or d'n'd)
4. multiple-file imports made within a project can only be placed end-to-end in 
a given track (using the track file import or d'n'd)
