I would get an error message.
There is a help message buried in the script, nodeaddr.py -h would state
that there will be the following options:
* -B <board> ... implicitely computes the offset from the MCU that is
defined for the board.
* -O <offset> ... explicitely give the offset
(with all chances for mistakes)
* -M <mcu> ... implicitely computes the offset from the given MCU
Check nodeaddr.py -L or -l for valid -M or -B options.
