That makes it a lot more sense to develop the gui.

"standalone", I mean with this if it is a PBC-item (like the Selection-/Play
lists), but not referenced to it in any Selection- or PlayList (so it's just
there, hoping the dvd-player will get to this item someday...)

I'll take care of that, so the gui always will place the endlist as the last
PBC-item (if it's defined).

What do you mean with "don't carry any information"?
And what is the difference with a 'normal' endlist (if this exists) and the
'extended' endlist, as you specified for here?
Is it possible to add an endlist to VCD2.0 too? If not, but the list is
declared anyhow, what happens then (will vcdxbuild complain, and if not what
does a standard dvd-player do with it)?
