form1 is everything which needs error corrections; i.e. 99% of all files
you'll include on the ISO9660 fs...
while 'mixed' form is so far only needed for the realtime file of CD-i
players... if you use 'mixed' you'll have to provide part of the sector
headers, and that's also why the file then has to be a multiple of 2336
bytes...
