Hi,

I just came across this project. I noted you have mentioned something
on the front page

http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd.html

QUOTE:

`Hurd' stands for `Hird of Unix-Replacing Daemons'. And, then, `Hird'
stands for `Hurd of Interfaces Representing Depth'. We have here, to
my knowledge, the first software to be named by a pair of mutually
recursive acronyms.

VHDL is that and has been around longer

V-Hardware Descriptive Language

Wher the V is shortened from VHSIC= Very-High-Speed Integrated Circuit

Thus Hurd is not the first software to be named by a pair of mutually
recursive acronyms.

Now ok Hurd is a piece of software and VHDL is a software language. But well

just thought I would let you know ;)
