Details:

Allowing some sort of "exec" command to fire off upon highlight would be a
great addition.  This would allow for the "beep on highlight" rather
trivially, using aplay or some such tool.  One could also configure gnu
screen to flag the window, or numerous other things.

I'm aware this could potentially be done with a plugin, however, it would be
duplication of work, as the plugin would have to watch all windows for
highlight text, then fire off a command.

Perhaps this can be done by mapping a weechat command to the highlight event,
allowing for one to use an "exec" plugin (i.e. shell.py) to then do the real
aplay command.
