Details:

The FILTER command only accepts POSIX BRE (basic regular expressions as in
ed(1), which the POSIX manpage itself calls 'obsolete'), thus not providing
much of the usual matching functionality (e.g. alternatives separated by '|'
etc.). It would be better to switch to ERE (extended POSIX regexes) or PCRE
instead.
