Follow-up Comment #5, bug #26690 (project weechat):

When compiling the prefix has to be specified, this is a nonstandardness from
weechat, a minor nuisance that came be overcome.

Now, your cmake output shows a common problem when compiling weechat on OSX,
the Perl plugin.

This issue is explained in https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?30701

Right now, you can either disable the perl plugin, edit the source the way
it's referred above, or, my suggestion, use Homebrew to install weechat.
