Follow-up Comment #1, task #12311 (project weechat):
I think its more confusing to have a number in front of buffer, that does not
belong to the buffer.
The numbers represents the number for the buffer (/buffer
), not the position in the buffers-bar.
Did you try:
/set buffers.look.show_number off
