Follow-up Comment #2:

Results of our chat on #weechat: ruby plugin causes the high CPU usage
(version 1.9.1 used).

Temporary workaround, not load ruby plugin:


/set weechat.plugin.autoload "*,!ruby"


Please try to recompile WeeChat yourself and check if you still have problem.
