Update of task #13059 (project weechat): Status: None => Need Info Assigned to: None => flashcode _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: "PING" (/ping) is an irc command that requires at least one argument. If you do /quote ping, the server should reply with an error ("PING: Not enough parameters"). Some clients like irssi display same error if you do /ping without arguments. But others like xchat send ping with the current time and displays the time spent before receiving PONG from server (same thing is done in background by WeeChat to check the lag with server).
