URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?13098> Summary: Stop service user greetings/infolines from tripping channel activity Project: WeeChat Submitted by: None Submitted on: Sat 15 Feb 2014 10:52:36 PM UTC Category: irc plugin Should Start On: Sat 15 Feb 2014 12:00:00 AM UTC Should be Finished on: Tue 15 Apr 2014 12:00:00 AM UTC Priority: 3 - Low Status: None Privacy: Public Percent Complete: 0% Assigned to: None Originator Name: JC Denton Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: None IRC nick: JC_Denton _______________________________________________________ Details: So we've got irc.look.notice_welcome_tags now. That's awesome! A lot of services packages include features to print a user's infoline when they join the channel. A lot of eggdrops and other bots do this too. The format is usually <Bot> [User] msg. It'd be great to prevent these messages from tripping channel activity. It'd almost be nice to have a filter that prevents buffer activity from triggering. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?13098> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
