Details:

I downloaded the windows exe from source forge.
I have Spybot Search & Destroy resident TeaTimer process running to catch
spyware processes.
On running the installer it shows the splash and after a few seconds a Spybot
dialog appears saying it has detected WinFixer2005.
Before I selected the choice of killing the process, popup adverts started
appearing.
When I chose to delete the process and its associated file they stopped.
Subsequent install runs produced the same result.
