Google calendar? Really?

That's why I suggested subscribing to the ICalendar output (a free, IETF-specified format) and displaying it with free software.

I'm open to alternatives, but I was just making a suggestion - I don't run the GF calendar.

How about setting up an International calendar for women-centric FOSS
events?
Geek feminism has one at http://geekfeminism.org/calendar/

It's a little broader than FOSS events, but many of the women in
computing and related events are probably interesting to women in FOSS.

Looks like google calendar lets you embed multiple calendars in one page:

We could split off the FOSS events from the others, and embed them both
in the GF page and just the FOSS one elsewhere? Minimal extra work, but
I hate duplicating effort more than a bit of extra work :)

You can also get an ICalendar file out of Google, if the FSF wants to
display it with free software such as phpMyCalendar.
