Hi Tim,
it would be nice if i may create new cvs tags during our development.
I wanna do the same system as Linus do that with his linux-kernel (-preX
versions, if it stable than the last -preX version will be the next
stabl version).
example:
We create now tag 4.3.0-pre1. Put a binary on our upcoming(?) ftp-server
for beta/test version. User could test -pre1. During test we do more on
our project and 3 month later we create -pre2. And so on. If it looks
stable we public 4.3.0 from the last preX stable and delete all preX
files of our beta/test ftp-server.
Then we go to the next version. For example 4.3.1-pre1....
What do y think about that ?
