Well, 'latest' might be a relative notion, at the rate I am making
commits. Which version exactly was this?

I am noticing that when observing two games at once on FICS, xboard
seems to go into a busy loop. Prior versions of xboard did not seem to have
problem with this.
Did you have the (new) Move List window open? During the blitz tourney
last Saturday I had a version that froze every time I started observing a
game while the Move List was not empty. I debugged and fixed that during
the tourney, though.

This sounds a bit like it could be the same thing. I just tried to observe
two games at FICS simultaneously with my latest version (from the aliennew
branch, which I rebased on top of hgmaster). But I am pretty sure there is
nothing extra in that branch that has anything to do with the MoveList
window, so I guess hgmaster's commits of today should work as well.
Indeed with the latest git the problem seems to have disappeared.

Michel

I am observing similar behaviour when observing and examining a game,
and when observing and playing a game.
