[Xlog-discussion] Xlog segmentation fault when a contact is logged from

From: Ben Champion
Subject: [Xlog-discussion] Xlog segmentation fault when a contact is logged from gMFSK (Bug Report)
Date: Sat, 27 Aug 2005 14:03:34 -0700
User-agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.6 (X11/20050727)

- Xlog version 1.2.2
- Error occurs in both the rpm version and the compiled-from-source version
- Distribution: Ubuntu 5.04 "Hoary Hedgehog"
- GTK+ Version: 2.6.4-0ubuntu3
- Bug is reproducible.

When the "Add data directly to the log" option is selected under Tools>Preferences>Other Tab>"Remote Data" pane, clicking "Log Entry" in gMFSK causes Xlog to terminate. The message "Segmentation Fault" will appear in the terminal if the program was started from a terminal.

Bug does not occur if "Add data to QSO frame" option is selected instead of the "Add data directly to the log" option under Tools>Preferences>Other Tab>"Remote Data" pane.
