Jack,
It would probably be helpful to do a bug report on Red Hat's Bugzilla
instance as the package maintainer might not know about there being a
later version.  I'll go ahead and file a ticket this morning to get the
ball rolling but in the future if you have any problems with the xLog
package in Fedora that's all you have to do.  I think the maintainer is
Lucian Langa and he has always been very responsive.
