Just out of curiosity, are you using autosave or 'save with every log
entry' ?

Autosave every 5 minutes. Not "save with every log entry".

Looks like you have a wrong character in the file. Look in the .xlog
directory and examine the logfile with an editor. Compare it with the
backup. I had an issue like this when the notes field contained a
newline character, sent from fldigi. After that, both fldigi and xlog
were patched, the first the avoid sending cruft, the latter to avoid
trashing the log on received cruft.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't see anything like that.

Other than that, may I suggest that you work contests on separate
files, and eventually merge them with your bulk log when you're
satisfied with the result ?
