I would *think* your problem is here. This is my output :: address@hidden:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/cwdaemon start [sudo] password for ed: Starting Morse daemon: cwdaemon.Now to figure out what is causing the seg fault, looks like whatever the lp module is.
My version is 0.9.5-1 with libasound2 > 1.0.23 and libc6 > 2.15 and conflicts with winkeydaemon.
I don't know if you can use gdb in this scenario or not to track down what is causing the seg fault.
