just came back from a week long vacation!

 

how about this weekend? i think we should try to compile the 1.x kernel using a "linux on the floppy" distribution. step 1 could be to boot the box using this kernel.

 

step 2 could be to modify the source of this kernel to print a "hello world!" as the last message in the booting up sequence.

 

if we can get these two things going this weekend... we have a start.
