Let me us know how this goes.  I am running Cygwin for on my W2K.  I can 
try to build in VC.NET or gcc.  I would like to know if anyone has tried 
building this within Eclipse.  I really like that IDE.

BTW, I'll get a Savannah account later today and let you know what it is.
