I reinstalled pspell-0.12.1. No luck. I used the rpm from RedHat rawhide. No 
luck. libpspell-impl never appeared.

Then I looked around pspell tree. There's a hidden .libs/ directory under 
interface/ which contains the libpspell -impl libs. Manually copied them to 
/usr/libs, and all is well.

AFAICS, make install for pspell just forgets them.
