I am very confused when I run :

./configure

 

I get the following output :

 

Finding Dictionary file location ... ./configure: aspell: command not found

 

Finding Data file location ... ./configure: aspell: command not found

 

Now I have installed aspell and it's under /usr/local/bin I have also tried commands

./configure --vars ASPELL=/usr/local/bin/ WORD_LIST_COMPRESS=/usr/local/bin/

 

and I get the same output .. what am I doing wrong ?
