Dictionary updates for French?

Hello,

The aspell-dict-fr package is outdated.  You’d think it’s okay because
French rarely changes anyway, but the package lacks the “1990 reform”
variant of French.

There are Hunspell dictionaries for this and other variants of French.
Is there a way Aspell could be made to use these, or could these be
converted into Aspell’s native format?  Or perhaps there’s another way
to achieve this?
